Elgin Agrarian Community – Farm-To-Table Living
SVN | Tamarack is the financial and strategic advisor for the $2.1M capital raise for Elgin Agrarian Community, a 23 acre mixed use community and the first Agrarian community in Texas. This project was the People’s Choice Winner in the ULI Austin developer competition. Eighty residential units will be supported by a 3-acre working farm; they are zero-net energy, meet green building standards, offer rainwater collection and are priced under $275,000. The balance of the site will include a spa, multi-use center, short-term rental cottages, and the first woman owned brewery.
Corporate Acquisition and Development
SVN|Tamarack represented Quantum Shop in its purchase of 67 acres and an additional lease of a 10,000 sq. ft. industrial space for its corporate expansion. Corporate culture is a large part of Quantum’s success, and it was important that the expansion align with their mission. The 67 acres has an elevation gain of 650 feet, two large lakes, parkland, and stellar views of downtown Austin.
SVN | Tamarack has been retained to advise the company on all aspects of development and financing for the 67 acres. It is envisioned that the company will build a total of 65,000 sq. ft. of creative industrial space for its own use. The balance of the property will be creative office space, live work studios, movie production facilities, retail, and outdoor music and art venues. Stay tuned.
