Managing Director, SVN|Tamarack
Regional Director, SVN National Corporate Services
Founder Loree Misch understands SVN ǀ Tamarack clients’ needs because she has been in their shoes. She has over 20 years of broad-based experience analyzing commercial real estate and corporate cash flows, structuring investments, strategic planning, and running companies. Her diverse experience gives her insight into the many ways investments and institutions succeed or veer off course. Previously, as company founder of Tamarack Capital Partners, she successfully managed her mezzanine debt investment fund through 9/11 and its after-effects on the credit market as well as through The Great Recession of 2008. She has a dual perspective as a recipient of investment funds from outside investors, as an investor in companies, and helping major institutions make tough decisions on their real estate to ensure investment and institutional success.
Before founding SVN ǀ Tamarack she achieved success in finance and planning, for The Walt Disney Company where she analyzed and compiled the 5-year plan and budget for its new and existing resorts, retail, and recreation. She was Director of the University of Florida’s Faculty Group Practice, and was responsible for the analysis and evaluation of its outpatient clinics. She assisted in the start-up of a real estate consulting company that served hospitality based retail properties. As a graduate assistant, she provided research for and edited the business plan for the public private partnership now known as Enterprise Florida.
Misch earned her B.S. in Finance from the Florida Institute of Technology, with honors, received her M.B.A. in real estate and urban analysis from the University of Florida, and attended the Venture Capital Institute. She has completed Certified Commercial Investment Member Courses, 101, 102, 103, and 104.
While not in the office, you’ll find her on a stand up paddle board on Lady Bird Lake, (still) trying to master the tree pose in yoga and play the drums (not at the same time), and cultivating her urban garden so that her young son has plenty of cherry tomatoes to pick.
Loree is an active participant in SVN’s Corporate Services and Medical Office national product councils.
